Overview
Parlor functionality is frequently assessed on dairies by milking equipment and supply companies. Unfortunately, these audits typically fall short in assessing how milking is affecting the individual cow. We provide something different. Using technology and methods backed by cutting-edge research, the veterinary professionals at MCVS can assess vacuum, animal behavior, cleanliness, protocol, completeness of milk-out, and overall equipment functionality to ensure your milking is maximally efficient without negatively affecting your animals.
Additionally, as part of our parlor audit service we can provide regular teat end scoring and monitoring via our new teat end score app! Please consult with your MCVS vet on how we can implement this powerful tool in your herd health program.

- Using devices like the VaDia continuous vacuum monitor, assess the functionality of your milking equipment from the vacuum pump all the way to the teat end.
- Through a concise presentation of data, make targeted recommendations for improving your parlor to maximize efficiency and completeness of milkout.
